After red all the good review, I bought it.

After the first try, I return it.

The bottom line is it does not work well enough to replace the iron.

It seems to me to bug a car can only drive 45 mile per hour and can not get on high-way.

I bought this to de-wrinkle my “no iron” shirts straight from the dryer. Not much help. It did work well with polo shirts, shorts, and pants. Perhaps I should have invested in the steaming board to get the professional look, but that item looked very cumbersome. Seems like it would work for drapes and household items that dont need to be perfectly pressed. I was also surprised how little steam came out from the unit, I was expecting a lot more (it just kind of falls out of the handle).

Unfortunately, its back the the ironing board for me!

I returned the item the following day as it does not remove the wrinkles on woven fabrics. I was so disappointed because it was not powerfull enough to remove the wrinkles unless you want to keep steaming for 30-45 minutes. If you’re in a hurry and does not like ironing it is best for you to buy a commercial grade for $100.00 more. The other reviews sound really good but I think these people only wear knit fabrics or does not know what is wrinkled and not wrinkled. WHAT A BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY AS I WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO AMAZON.

This product will NOT replace your iron if you are used to the crisp “iron look”. I really wanted it to work because the shirt ironing takes a lot of time and according to Jiffy Steamer’s description I would save time AND money for dry cleaning. Well, first of all, I did not save time at all, it actually took me longer and the shirt (100% cotton) was still covered with little wrinkles everywhere (just like when you iron on a very low setting). Second, I burned myself several times on the metal part of the hose, which gets extremely hot and on the steam itself (honestly, I think they have to include some sort of gloves and insulate the hose). Third, this product is leaking. While I was steaming the shirt, I moved the steamer closer and there was water on my hard wood floors! Also, after I was done with the steaming and trying to disassemble the steamer, water poured from everywhere, the hose as well as the metal bin. All in all, I would have never purchased this product, have I known that it has so many issues and on top of that I have to pay for return shipping!!!

I purchased this based on the positive reviews here. Here’s my experience. It definitely does not approach an iron as far as making your clothes looking sharp, finished. It sort of takes some wrinkles out of some types of clothes. Even after “pressing”, your clothes still look a little rumpled.

Forget about using this on any type of heavy fabric like pants or knit shirts. The only thing I found it did ok (and only ok) were light-weight cotton shirts.

I would say it’s faster for sure but I’m returning it. It just doesn’t do the job.
