WELL, I THOUGHT I’D FIND AN EASIER WAY TO GET THROUGH ALL THE SILK ALOHA SHIRTS I LAUNDER. BUT… NO. I TRIED USING THIS STEAMER A FEW DOZEN TIMES, ALWAYS HOPING THAT MAYBE I NEEDED MORE PRACTICE WITH IT. BUT, I’VE FINALLY COME TO THE REALIZATION THAT IT JUST DOESN’T “CUT IT”. I’M A VERY CLEAN, CRISP IRONER, AND ALTHOUGH THE STEAMER DOES TAKE OUT SOME OF THE WRINKLES, IT DOES NOT LEAVE ANY KIND OF RESULT THAT COULD EVEN COME CLOSE TO IRONING. BESIDES MY HUSBAND SHIRTS AND SLACKS, I TRIED THE STEAMER ON MY SON’S COTTON SHIRTS AND MY OWN LINEN AND RAYONS. THE RESULT ISN’T MUCH BETTER. IT JUST DOESN’T HAVE THAT “PRESSED” LOOKED LIKE WITH IRONING, AND THE WRINKLES STILL LINGER NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I PASS THE STEAM OVER AND THROUGH THE FABRICS.
I’M THINKING THAT THE ONLY THING THIS MIGHT BE GOOD FOR IS FOR DRY CLEANED SUITS THAT MIGHT GET MULTIPLE WEARS BEFORE GOING BACK TO THE DRY CLEANER. IN THAT CASE YOU JUST NEED A FRESHEN-UP TO SOMETHING ALREADY PRESSED… SO, I THINK THAT WOULD BE WORKABLE. OTHERWISE, DON’T EXPECT TO GET RESULTS THAT LOOK LIKE IRONING.
I WILL BE SELLING MINE ON EBAY AS SOON AS I GET THE CHANCE… AND PURCHASING A NEW IRON AND IRONING BOARD. SIGH.

I purchased the conair fabric steamer for my husband, because he wears suits and dress shirts often, I thought that this conair steamer would help him with the wrinkles, especially while traveling. The steamer takes to long to get hot, and then when it does get hot, even while following the directions and not filling it pass the fill line it bubbles over and water wastes all over the place!! It also burns you if you aren’t very careful. I was very disappointed with this product. I only purchased this item because someone else’s review stated this was a good item. I no longer use it and I have had it less than five months.

My mom has the same steamer and hers works fine. Mine leaks water all over the floor as soon as your turn it on. I’m sure it’s just a lemon and I’m going to return it, but it is dissapointing that they don’t have better quality control.

Great little product. Good price. As with any, steamer, just be careful when using, as steam can be very hot. Not very muck splatter at all.

Works great, I also burned my fingers a couple times. For the price this is a nice basic steamer that is great to get the wrinkles out that the dryer sometimes does not. I also would have liked more power but for this model and the price thought it was a great deal.
